01 The story

Why he leads GoActive.

Daniel has seen Erasmus+ from every side — as a participant, as a member of organising teams and as the coordinator responsible for everything from the first concept note to the final report.

Since 2023 he has taken part in more than twenty international mobilities, working in mixed-nationality teams from Berlin to Barcelona and from Prilep to Alcalá la Real. Along the way he learned what makes a project unforgettable: not the venue or the schedule, but whether every single participant feels they belong there.

As Vice President of the NGO AimWithUs he is the person international participants turn to before and during a mobility — for lost documents, rebooked flights and misunderstandings between people from eight different countries, usually across time zones and rarely at convenient hours.

GoActive Bucharest is where that experience turns outward: a group built so that young people don’t just attend projects, but shape them.

04 Beyond projects

Showing up for people.

At Hospice Casa Speranței, Daniel sits with people in palliative care — listening without rushing to reassure, and staying present with what can’t be fixed.

It’s the same steadiness he brings to hard conversations on a youth exchange, and the reason GoActive puts listening before talking.
