Trips across Europe, planned by you.

We organise Erasmus+ youth exchanges: a week or two abroad with young people from other countries. You tell us what it should be about. The programme pays for travel and accommodation.

So what is a youth exchange?

Groups of young people from a few European countries spend 5 to 21 days together in one place, working on a topic they care about. No grades, no lectures.

What you do

Workshops, debates, cooking, going out

Every day mixes activities on the topic with free time. The group plans a lot of it together.

Who’s there

Young people from 3–6 countries

Usually 20 to 40 participants plus group leaders. You go with a small group from Romania.

What it costs

Almost nothing

Erasmus+ covers travel, accommodation and food. Extra support is available if you need it.

From your idea to a real trip, in four steps.

  1. You share an idea

A topic, a place, an activity, or a problem you want to work on. One sentence is fine.

  2. We pick the strongest

We read every idea and look for what many people care about.

  3. We apply for funding

With partner groups abroad, we turn it into an Erasmus+ application.

  4. You go

Once it’s approved, we open sign-ups and make sure they reach people who’d usually miss out.

Who can join

You don’t need any of this.

If you’re 13 to 30, you can take part. We especially want people who’ve never been offered something like this.

What should the next exchange be about?

One sentence is enough. We read every idea, and the strongest ones become our next Erasmus+ application.

Topic (optional)

Who’s behind it

Three people in Bucharest who went on exchanges themselves and want more young people to get the chance.

Questions people ask

Something else? Write to daniel.butnar@gmail.com.

Is it really free?

Erasmus+ funds travel, accommodation, food and the activities. Sometimes there’s a small participation fee; we’ll always tell you up front.

I’m under 18. Can I go?

Yes, from 13. You’ll need a parent or guardian’s consent, and group leaders travel with you.

How good does my English need to be?

Good enough to chat. Nobody is testing you, and people help each other.

When is the next exchange?

We’re building it now from the ideas people send in. Follow us on Instagram to hear when sign-ups open.

Can I suggest an idea without going?

Of course. Every idea helps us understand what young people want.
