01 Our mission
We keep one chair open at every table — for the young person who has never been invited to sit at one.
We call it The Open Chair. Before we choose a theme, a country or a single activity, we ask one question: who is missing from this room — and what would it take to bring them in?
Erasmus+ gives young people something rare: a real seat in Europe. Travel, accommodation and learning, funded so that money, a small hometown or a first passport are not the reasons someone stays at home. Our job is to make sure that seat reaches the people it was designed for.
And once they are in the room, we do the part that matters most. We hand over the microphone. Young people don’t just attend our projects — they shape the topics, the activities and the next destination.
02 What we stand for
Inclusion, connection and a real voice. Everything we organise is built on these three.
Not a quota and not a checkbox. We design for young people with fewer opportunities first — rural communities, tight budgets, disabilities, minority backgrounds, first-time travellers. When a project works for them, it works for everyone.
A youth exchange puts young people from different countries under one roof — workshops, debates, shared meals, late-night conversations. Prejudice rarely survives a week of cooking dinner together. Friendships do.
Asking young people for their opinion is easy. Building the next project around it is the point. The ideas sent through this website become the themes, activities and destinations of what we apply for next.

This is how a young person’s idea becomes a real international project.
Share an idea on our platform — a theme, a place, an activity, even a frustration you want to solve.
We read every submission and look for the patterns: what young people in Bucharest and beyond really care about.
With partner organisations across Europe, we turn the strongest ideas into an Erasmus+ project application.
Once funded, we open the call — and make sure it reaches the young people who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance.
